About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Operations Coordinator to join our team.
AEMOs Operations Division is responsible for operating the power system in the context of unprecedented transformation.
You will provide high quality administrative assistance to the team. The role requires being able to conduct tasks with minimal supervision having excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to fulfilling tasks within deadlines.
What you will be doing
- Providing senior leadership support to the Department including diary management triaging and resolving emails or escalating them to the necessary team members.
- Committee paper administration.
- Organising travel.
- Liaising with relevant government offices and other public and private sector agencies and stakeholders.
- Meeting co-ordination and preparing and documenting meeting agendas minutes and actions.
- Working with the Department teams to support them in delivering their KPIs which align with AEMOs corporate plan.
- Providing accurate and timely administrative support including processing expenses and invoices formatting correspondence and reports creating purchase orders and payment of invoices. Maintenance of team sites on SharePoint
What you will bring to the role
- High level experience in an Administration Officer PA or Team Coordinator in a corporate environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience working with Microsoft Teams SharePoint OneDrive DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat.
- Demonstrated complex calendar and diary management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise projects and daily tasks effectively considering both internal and external influences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and in a team with good organisational skills
- Ability to use own initiative problem solve and plan.
- High level of attention to detail and an appreciation for quality.
