The Middle School Assistant Coordinator will coordinate with the the lead high school and assistant high school coordinator to build engaging afterschool programming for 7th and 8th graders on site and in the community. Join us in building a stronger brighter future for the youth and families of Rate: $25.00/hourEligible Age: 18 years and olderOverview: Assistant Coordinators are responsible for the development and delivery of engaging curriculum classroom oversight and the mentorship of support staff. They are central to the success of each program day providing structure creativity and a warm inclusive environment for students to learn and : * Design and lead classroom curriculum aligned with ELP goals and student needs * Manage daily classroom schedule routines and transitions * Mentor and guide AES AEIS and AEPS staff through modeling and feedback * Maintain accurate daily attendance and incident documentation * Create and distribute family newsletters or communication as needed * Provide clear evidence of curriculum planning and classroom management * Serve as a role model for professionalism creativity and child-centered engagement Eligibility & Considerations: * AEEs must be 18 years old * AEEs must show strong evidence of skills in leadership organization classroom management and curricular development * Preference is given to candidates who hold one or more of the following: Vermont Afterschool Foundations Certificate Vermont Afterschool Essentials Certificate Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential Vermont Program Director Credential Vermont Teacher Licensure Associates Bachelors or higher degree
