Job Description
Classification: Certified
Salary range: (NCDPI state salary schedule)
Months of Employment: 10 months (Health Sciences Trade and Industry); 12 months (Agriculture Education)
FLSA Exempt
AREA OF FOCUS: Health Sciences Agriculture and/or Trade and Industry
TITLE:Career and Technical Education Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelors degree in education with valid teaching Certificate in North Carolina with specified CTE certification area.
2. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate.
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOAL: To help students learn subject matter and skills that will
contribute to their educational and social development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the administration in implementing all policies and/or rules governing student life and conduct and for the classroom develop reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure and maintain order in the classroom in a fair and just
