Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Functions
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facilitys equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service times.
- Perform maintenance technician skills including but not limited to mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals schematics machinery assembly drawings and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose process and machinery problems utilizing root cause failure analysis techniques replace or repair equipment parts test and adjust as required.
- Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance on machines equipment and plant facilities.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools basic shop machinery electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Required Education and General Maintenance Experience
High School Diploma/GED or Matriculation and completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
Minimum/Enrolled in 2-year Associates Degree/Technical College Accreditation- Industrial Mech/Elec/Automation
3 years of maintenance technician experience with strong analysis and repair skills in electrical ac/dc systems hydraulics pneumatics mechanical applications power transmission systems fluid mechanics/properties tubing and hosing applications operation of mobile equipment and machine safeguarding.
Bonus Qualifications/ Experience
PLC and ladder logic design/troubleshooting
Robots teach point and programming code understanding
