About the Opportunity
Maintenance Traineeshipsare a 12 month training program based at the academy in Forrestfield. Trainees study to become skilled Maintenance Associates with BHP completing a Certificate II in Engineering Production Technology.
Our Traineeships will provide you with exciting opportunities including:
At BHP nothing matters more than the safety of our people. To support our Fatigue Management Plan we require allapplicants to live within a 45-minute commute of our Forrestfield Academy.
Accommodation and transportation is not provided and candidates would need to relocate to the Perth area if they do not already live locally. BHP has sites across Australia and it is important to understand that you may be required to relocate (including interstate) once you complete your training. This is based on demand for your trade or skillset across our mine sites.

Were looking for people from a broad range of backgrounds. Previous maintenance training is not necessary however you will have a genuine interest in fixing repairing or tinkering.
