Leading coordinating and overseeing statewide project planning activities and reporting future needs to MDOT leadership.
Ensuring statewide consistency and alignment in project planning and study processes to benefit the future budgetary needs of the department and the State of Michigan.
Coordinating with MDOT regions and statewide program managers on the Highway Call for Projects (CFP) to make measurable progress toward MDOTs mission to serve and connect people communities and the economy through transportation.

Required Education and Experience
- EducationPossession of a bachelors degree in any major with at least 30 semester (45 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: planning (city community environmental regional and/or urban) environmental studies and/or sustainability engineering statistics mathematics geography geographic/geospatial information systems logistics and/or supply chain management or economics.ExperienceFour years of professional experience equivalent to a Transportation Planner including two years equivalent to a Transportation Planner P11 or one year equivalent to a Transportation Planner 12.
