- This opportunity is open to all interested candidates and this recruitment will establish an Eligibility List for the current vacancies as well as any future vacancies. This list will be active for three (3) months with the possibility to be extended.
BASIC FUNCTIONProvide assistance in the development of student functional skills of daily living social skills medication compliance and positive behavior support and intervention techniques for students diagnosed with a mental health condition or with other conditions with behavioral emotional/behavioral components and/or severe disciplinary problems. Successful applicants should possess strong writing skills related to documenting student and IEP services.

Candidates considered for positions that require bilingual skillswill be invited to a Performance Test (Qualifying Only) for oral and written positionsqualify for a 5% bilingual differential.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of training experience and/or education equivalent to three years of behavior modification experience with youth in a mental health setting preferably in inpatient hospitalization intensive day treatment or residential treatment settings.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Personality and character traits suited to providing services for students with serious behavior challenges. Maintain Professional Assault Crisis Training (Pro-ACT) certification as provided by the district.Supplemental Information
