Join Our Team as a Direct Care Worker (Residential): Deliver Compassionate Hands-On Care to Our Residential Care Home Residents
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others Were looking for a committed Direct Care Worker (Residential) to become a valued member of the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) team. In this important role youll work closely with residents and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality person-centred care within a safe and nurturing environment.
About the Role:
As a Direct Care Worker (Residential) you will be responsible for providing direct care services to residents of the Residential Care Home. Reporting to the Registered Nurse and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team youll support residents with their daily activities promote their independence and wellbeing and foster a caring and respectful atmosphere.
What Were Looking For:
- Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
- Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
- Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health-related field.
- Experience in dealing with aged frail or disabled persons.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word Excel.
