Job Description
Your Tasks
- Preparation and analysis of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS to ensure transparent and accurate presentation of the financial position
- Development and assessment of stakeholder-oriented accounting and valuation memos according to HGB and IFRS to ensure well-founded and comprehensible decisions
- Preparation expansion and interpretation of business analyses as well as analysis of financial and performance indicators to support corporate management
- Optimization of existing process flows and booking logics as well as support in the implementation of corporate law changes to increase the efficiency of financial reporting
- Participation in cross-departmental projects assumption of project management responsibilities and presentation of results in a convincing and target group-oriented manner
- Responsibility for close coordination with auditors and ensuring smooth and timely audit processes
Your Profile
- Completed degree in business administration ideally with a focus on accounting or financial reporting
- Solid professional experience in accounting and valuation in accordance with HGB and IFRS including balance sheet analysis; practical experience in handling HGB and IFRS accounting standards preferably gained in auditing
- Excellent user skills in MS Office especially Excel as well as confident preparation of complex data; knowledge of SAP FI and SAP BI as additional technical expertise
- Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment; goal-oriented structured and precise working style
- Team orientation sense of responsibility and high accuracy and diligence in working with figures
- Very good command of German as well as confident and clear communication skills in English both spoken and written
