Key Responsibilities &Tasks

The Customer Innovation Services (CIS) Sales Solution Advisor in Global Services Sales within GCE&S willdrivedemand and growth of Customer Innovation Services and support customer adoption of CIS. The right person will be accountablefor drivingthe Services business development to generate Customer Innovation Services growth and adoption through business developmentactivities aligned with AI-First Suite-First Strategy. The Customer Innovation Services Solution Advisor mustcollaborate and develop strong a Business Development strategy Go-To-Market plans and drive pipeline growth along with License sales to prominently position Customer Innovation Services across the continuous customer value journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building strategiesto sellCustomer Innovation Services via strategic and value-based market penetration strategies.
  • Defines a vision and creates a winning strategythatdraws uponthe strengths of SAP and respondsto specific marketneeds
  • Develops and applies an in-depth understanding of SAPs processes/ procedures and salestools/systems as well as enterprise market including industry marketplace strategies andtrends competitors and competitivetacticsto develop an effective long-term sales strategy and plan.
  • Support the strategic and must-win deals working alongside the Regional and Account Teams.
  • Demonstrates outstanding executiontrack along sales cycle ensuring SAPs sales methodologies and common processes are in place and defining clearengagementguidelines.
  • Monitors andtakes necessary measuresto ensure adequate pipeline of opportunities and demand generations for sustainable growth supporting regions
  • Builds a network of executive relationships across industry community and business groups and with key partners and customersto stay currenton issues impacting business and sales providing meaningful strategic adviceto retain and growtheir businessthrough integrated solutions.
  • Inspires and influences internal stakeholders experts and other resources notunder directcontrol helpingto remove obstacles and aiming for goals achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with Customer Innovation Services team in CS&D License Sales Regions and other internalteams within SAP Industry Salesteams Solution Sales teams Marketing Center of Excellence Solution & Industry Advisory etc.

Experience & Educational Requirements

  • Proventrack recordsin services sales and demonstrated success with business result delivery
  • 10 years of experience in business development and sales of complex business software / ITsolutions / SAP Services
  • Profound understanding of SAP Services portfolio and rich experiences of SAP projects
  • Demonstrated success with complex long-cycle sales campaigns in a fast-paced consultative and competitive market.
  • Demonstrated knowledge on consultative selling methodologies
  • Proven abilities on managing highly complex organizations and applying risk-mitigation strategiesto customer
  • Knowledge of SAPs Partners Competitors andthe regional ITIndustry
  • Bachelor or Masters Degree (MBA would be advantageous)
  • Business English: fluent

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 210600 - 358000(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skills experience scope of the role location etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role which involves global interactions with SAP entities as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
