The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Belgium within MP-P Commercial Acquiring. This role requires a strong analytical mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with both local and remote teams including support from our Indian teams. You will be part of a dedicated team of test coordinators contributing to critical testing initiativesThis position involves defining and implementing the projects test strategy while evaluating quality costs and timelines based on project scope and customer requirements.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Test Strategy Development:Define the scope of testing establish test phases identify stakeholders and assess staffing and resource needs for efficient test execution.
• Test Planning and Execution:Design and execute comprehensive test scripts for new functionalities utilizing advanced testing tools to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Non-Regression Testing:Conduct non-regression tests to validate existing functionalities ensuring they continue to meet expected results.
• Collaboration:Work closely with development teams to report discrepancies and facilitate the timely resolution of issues.
• Reporting:Monitor all test activities document defects and provide regular updates to the Project Manager on testing progress quality assessments and risk evaluations.
• Knowledge Management:Maintain a reference database for tests ensuring ongoing knowledge transfer for future non-regression and maintenance purposes.

Who Are We Looking For

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science
• 2-3 Years experience as a Software Engineer or Software Tester
• The relentless will to learn new things and continuously improve
• Know-how of Cashless payment methods is an advantage
• The natural will to take ownership
• Agile mindset with strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
• Capable of working under pressure
• Well skilled and highly motivated people
• Good English.
• Dutch/French/German knowledge is an advantage
