Fisher Associates is a multidisciplinary design services firm headquartered in Rochester NY with eight locations nationwide. The firm provides civil/site engineering transportation engineering electrical engineering landscape architecture architecture planning environmental surveying GIS construction inspection precast engineering and construction engineering services to public and private sector clients across numerous markets.

What Youll Do as a Precast Design Engineer
- Lead and execute precast engineering and design tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver structurally sound cost-effective and visually appealing precast concrete designs.
- Perform and review structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety under various loads and conditions.
- Select materials and components for precast concrete production that meet strength durability and sustainability standards.
- Create accurate drawings plans and specifications for precast projects aligned with industry design standards.
- Support cost estimation for materials
- Support Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Promote utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables.
- Guide and mentor junior staff.

Salary Range $83000-$98000
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience qualifications/education and other factors. What You Bring Your Expertise as a Precast Design Engineer
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Masters preferred
- 5 -10 years minimum transportation experience including Precast concrete design engineering
- Familiarity with ACI 318 ACI 350 ASCE-7 AASHTO and IBC codes
- Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & RISA 3D
