TITLE: BMS GENERAL MUSIC CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT - SUMMER
POSITION SUMMARY:
Work collaboratively to develop the Grade 6 General Music Curriculum. This will be a continuationof the work that was started in the Spring of 2025 to accommodatethe new schedule to be implementedat BMS.
Work to becompleted summer 2025 (7/1/25 start) - may include required in-person check ins
Up to 3 staff membersup to 12 hours each
Product Requirement: Detailed Unit Plans must be submitted to Marie Forte and Cari Perchase
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Any Bellingham PublicSchools educator responsible for teachingGeneral Music may apply
2. Preference will be givento teachersdirectly responsiblefor teaching General Music at BMS
SALARY: $33 per hour up to 12 hours
REPORTS TO: Marie Forte and Cari Perchase
OUR MISSION:
The Bellingham Public School Districts enrollment is approximately 1930 students and an organizational staff of 400 employees. The district is split into the following building grade levels: DiPietro Elementary (Preschool Grade 3) Stall Brook Elementary (Preschool Grade 3) Bellingham Memorial School (grades 4-7) and Bellingham High School (grades 8-12) and Keough Memorial Academy (grades 7-12) is our therapeutic day school for students with special needs.
