Job Description
A leading chemical manufacturing organisation in Papua New Guinea is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee operations in a high-volume formulation-driven environment. This is a senior opportunity for a production leader with deep knowledge of industrial and cleaning chemical manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily chemical production with a focus on safety quality and efficiency
- Optimise equipment utilisation and reduce unplanned downtime
- Manage production scheduling aligned with sales demand and inventory
- Drive continuous improvement across cost quality and safety metrics
- Collaborate with R&D teams on formulation and new product development
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory quality and environmental standards
Requirements
What Were Looking For
- 7 years experience in chemical manufacturing operations
- Proven background in bleach and cleaning product formulation (R&D experience essential)
- Degree in Chemistry Engineering or related field
- Hands-on leadership skills with a record of developing production teams
- ERP and production analytics capabilities required
