Job Description

Special Education Teacher Resource Room Setting

Our Organization is committed to helping all students thrive by connecting dedicated educators with roles where they can truly make a difference. We re currently hiring a Special Education Teacher to work in a resource room setting providing targeted support to students with diverse learning needs in an Illinois-based school.

In this role you ll design and implement personalized instructional plans for students with learning emotional and developmental differences. You ll be responsible for managing IEPs modifying curriculum and fostering both academic progress and social-emotional development within a structured supportive environment.

You ll work closely with classroom teachers related service providers and families to create a unified student-focused approach. Your expertise will play a key role in building confidence encouraging independence and helping students develop the skills they need for long-term success.

Requirements

A valid Illinois K 12 Teaching Certification is required along with a Bachelors degree in Special Education or a closely related field. The ideal candidate will bring experience working with students with a range of disabilities and a proven track record of effectiveness in a Special Education teaching role or a comparable position.
