INVESTMENT FUNDS ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
LOCATION: CHARLOTTE NC
INTERNATIONAL AMLAW 50 FIRM has an immediate opening for Investment FundsAssociate Attorneys in their Charlotteoffice.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials (Top 20% of class).
- Active Bar Admission in North Carolina.
- 46 years of substantive experience ininvestment managementandfund formation.
- Background in private equity funds hedge funds private credit funds real estate funds hybrid funds and funds utilizing alternative investment strategies is highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent private equity hedge private credit real estate hybrid and other types of funds employing alternative investment strategies.
- Provide support on matters involving retail alternative funds (BDCs interval funds closed-end funds).
- Work closely with a collaborative multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients.
- Contribute to the firms expanding investment funds practice directly interacting with clients and supporting business development.
