We are on the lookout for experienced hard-working and motivatedMPU Operators to join our growing Platinum familywe have permanent fulltime positions available within the Isaac region.
Reporting to the Operations Manager these positions will be offered on a 7:7 even time roster with flexible travel arrangements dependent on site and location.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Safely and efficiently operating MPUs for manufacturing and delivering explosives
- Operate other associated machinery in line with on-bench duties
- Assist with preventative maintenance
- Help with the hands-on delivery of explosive products and accessories on the bench
- Maintain excellent safety practices whilst following the direction of a licensed Shotfirer
You will have:
- Previous experience as a MPU Operator within the gold mining or quarry operations
- Standard 11
- QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card OR ability to obtain one
- Heavy Rigid (or greater) Driver Licence
- Statement of Attainment or proven training in conducting mobile mixing of explosives
- A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
- Fit healthy and ready to do the hard yards
- The ability to pass pre-employment checks inclusive of medicals and national background checks
