Meeting Street is currently looking for a WIC Clerk (Bilingual English/Spanish) for WIC working 40 hours weekly.


Directly responsible for scheduling WIC appointments determining income eligibility issuing WIC checks and describing approved WIC policies and procedures to all participants.


Job Duties:

  • Provide customer service to expecting mothers mothers and their children under age 5 participating in the WIC program.
  • Provide administrative support to the WIC program by answering incoming phone calls schedule appointments for clients and manage check-in of clients for in-person appointments.
  • Conduct intake and eligibility certification of new WIC participants.
  • Perform physical assessment of clients through measuring height weight and hemoglobin. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in providing clinical care and assessment of clients.
  • Coordinate with pediatric offices to gather pertinent client information.

Requirements:


  • High School diploma or equivalent with at least 6 months of related experience.
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
