Die Polisher

• Polishing dies as directed to ensure timely manufacturing of product to customer specifications.
• Finishing to a mirror finish.
• Good hand-eye coordination to cut out complex designs and shapes.
• Interprets die finishes from artwork models and pictures.
• Able to apply textures and finishes using various tools machinery and abrasive materials.
• Understands basic principles of heat treating metals.
• Specific vision; including close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Repetitive motion with hands and wrists.
• Measures work carefully by using precision tools.
• Uses adjusts cleans and stores the tools machinery and equipment.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations decrease turnaround times streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
• Ability to demonstrate predictable reliable and timely attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to perform repetitive work with hands and wrists.
• Lifting objects up to 50 pounds may be required.
• Must be able to stand bend and kneel continually while performing tasks.
• Ability to read write and interpret artwork instructions.
• Must be able to operate basic computer functions.
• Maintain a clean safe work environment and remain focused at all times.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team; interact appropriately with others.
• Ability to be read write and communicate effectively.
