The Lake County Maintenance Department is accepting applications for:

Custodian

QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of safe work practices general methods materials and tools involved in building maintenance work. Ability to perform routine cleaning work understand and carry out oral and written directions. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers. Must have some general cleaning experience possessing a familiarity with methods materials and tools used in building cleaning work. Must pass a background check.

DUTIES: Performs routine building cleaning tasks. Daily sweeping/vacuuming all rooms and hallways used during the day. Empty all trash. Clean and disinfect all restrooms (toilets urinals sinks and floors). Clean all counters stair rails window blinds file cabinets desks chair legs folding tables registers for heat ducts and cold air returns and vents for exhaust fans in restrooms. Washing window ledges. Check all hallways and outside doors to ensure that they are closed and locked. Performs other duties as assigned.

DAYS/HOURS: Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm

WAGE: $16.75/hourly depending on experience
