Job Description
We are working with a tech company and as part of their continued growth NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Robotics Perception Engineer to join their Singapore team.
The package is competitive at SGD 78k-102k (excluding bonus).
About the Role
- Lead the design and development of advanced 3D machine vision systems for industrial robotics ensuring high precision and performance
- Collaborate with robotics engineers and software developers to integrate 3D vision technology into robotic applications
- Oversee the integration of 3D sensors with robotic systems optimizing for accuracy and reliability
- Develop and refine algorithms for data acquisition image processing and object recognition
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to ensure robust and reliable machine vision performance in industrial environments
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience building and deploying 3D machine vision systems in industrial or product settings
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python C# and C with experience using relevant libraries and frameworks
- Strong understanding of software architecture object-oriented programming (OOP) and adherence to SOLID principles
- In-depth knowledge of 3D sensors and expertise in processing and manipulating point clouds and mesh data
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
