Job Description

S/4 HANA Cash & Banking Lead Analyst

Location: Warsaw

Hybrid Model: 3 days per week from office

As the Axial programme moves out of the Global Design phase 1 and moves into Part 2 Cycle 4 Localisation phase as well as the Build and Deployment phases we have an opportunity for a Cash & Banking Lead Analyst to support the Axial Treasury team in these next phases as well as develop their knowledge of the AstraZeneca Treasury and Cash & Banking Functions.

Typical Accountabilities:

  • Acts as part of a skilled team with knowledge in one or more areas of Cash & Banking and Process Improvement as well as a good overview of Finance particularly Record to Report.
  • Assists with maintaining documentation for the S/4HANA processes with regards to Treasury and Cash & Banking through BIC processes (process mapping) and other project methodology as required
  • Supports the writing and review of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Supports and in some cases leads Global Template 2 and Cycle 4 Fit to Standard Workshops including:

- Working with the Cycle 4 lead to align on agenda and content for each workshop

- Providing overviews of the Axial processes defined during the Global Design phase

- Assisting with assessment of local regulatory and business critical requirements

- Performing Fit / Gap analysis against the Axial Golden template

- Collating User Stories for required localisations expected in scope

- Assisting with collation of change impacts

- Leads some workshops attended by AstraZeneca finance teams

  • Assists the Interim State team in understanding interim process requirements through the Axial deployment timeline
  • Supports project managers with status updates and performance metrics
  • Processes in scope include (but not limited to): Bank Account Management Payment processes Bank statement processing & reconciliation Local Cash Management Cash forecasting In-House Banking FX Risk Management
  • Supports the IT build as required
  • Plus other ad hoc work as required to enable the success of the Axial Programme

Education Qualifications Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Extensive project experience
  • Strong influencing and communication skills written and verbal
  • Bachelors degree in relevant discipline (or equivalent)
  • Understanding of financial processes within AstraZeneca not necessarily limited to Cash & Banking
  • Understanding of financial postings and Financial Accounting

Desirable:

  • Treasury experience within a business setting
  • Pharma experience
  • Professional certification (or working towards) within Treasury / Finance
