About the role
We have both permanent and 12 month opportunities available for a Water Conveyance Design Engineer based in Leederville joining our Engineering team. Youll undertake manage and support the delivery of engineering design for our water assets across Western Australia. This role is based in Leederville and will report to the Team Leader Water Conveyance Design.

What the role will involve
- Plan and manage the development and delivery of complex designs and reports for the solution and engineering problems using in-house or external resources
- Prepare briefs for engagement of consultants; evaluate consultant proposals and makes recommendations
- Manage the preparation of complex tender documents undertake tender analysis and make recommendations
- Deliver engineering designs or advice for the solution of engineering problems using in-house or external resources.
- Provide advice to and liaise with internal customers external suppliers service agencies consultants industry regulators and agencies in relation to infrastructure design
- Represent the Corporation in consultation and negotiations with Government agencies local authorities consultants developers and community groups.
About you
Youll have a degree in a civil / structural engineering discipline or similar along withconsiderable water related professional engineering experience in a civil and structural field. Your demonstrated experiencein planning definition and design including in-house design of infrastructure assets with experience with preparation and review of reports and tenders will set you up for success in this role.
