Job Description
We are recruiting with purpose for a Professional Land Surveyor to join our clients team in Ft. Walton Beach Florida.
This is a key opportunity for a seasoned professional with experience in industrial commercial and site development projects to bring leadership precision and team collaboration to a growing organization.
Position Summary
In this role you will actively contribute to a team-oriented culture foster communication across departments and build strong relationships with clients and contractors. As a Professional Land Surveyor youll help manage the surveying department support engineering operations and mentor and develop team members. You will also oversee the scheduling and supervision of survey crews and play a lead role in hiring and coaching staff.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain detailed sketches maps reports and legal descriptions to certify survey work.
Ensure accuracy of survey data including field measurements and calculations particularly for easements.
Conduct or oversee boundary surveys based on legal documentation (deeds titles etc.).
Record and interpret survey results related to land features such as location elevation contour and dimensions.
Calculate property lines elevations terrain characteristics and other key measurements.
Supervise the preparation of all data maps records charts and documents related to surveys.
Qualifications
Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Florida (Required)
4 years of general land surveying experience
5 years of experience with AutoCAD or related surveying software
Proven ability to manage multiple projects while staying within budget and timeline constraints
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Experience in leading teams and managing surveying operations
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Required Licenses/Certifications
Valid Drivers License
Florida Surveyor License
