Summary of Job Duties:
*Role Model/Mentor*Creates implements and supervises bi-weekly small group counseling sessions during the summer component.
*Administers and interprets personality and self-concept inventories.
*Serves as a liaison between participants and the staff regarding concerns
*Administers scores and interprets pre/post assessment tests and learning styles inventories.
*Provides assistance in career academic and post-secondary admissions concerns to project participants.
*Coordinates and implements a comprehensive summer workshop for participants to complete.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications
Current UAHT student
and strong written and oral communication skills.
Preference will be given to individuals who can personally relate to the background of low-income and first-generation students (UAHT TRiO Student Support Services participants)
