In the Utility Role you will assist the extrusion operator throughout the entire process of producing plastic sheet products ensuring they meet customer specifications and adhere to established production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn understand and consistently follow operational and quality standards.
  • Accurately identify all raw materials both in process and in pre-staged areas.
  • Ensure proper identification and tracking of all materials and containers.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of support materials (e.g. skids polyfilm cores etc.).
  • Properly tag and package finished products.
  • Mix raw materials according to production order specifications.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure a safe contamination-free environment.
  • Adapt to ongoing changes and take on additional tasks as required.
  • Regularly stand walk bend stoop kneel crouch crawl reach and sit as well as climb or balance.
  • Lift and move objects weighing between 10 to 20 pounds regularly with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and handle rolls weighing up to 250 pounds.
  • Work schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM enjoy a 4-day work week!

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent attendance and a strong safety record.
  • Comfortable wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) including hearing protection safety glasses hairnets and safety shoes.
