SIGINT Flight Engineer

KBRs National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position your work will have a profound impact on the countrys most critical role protecting our national security.

KBR is seeking a SIGINT Flight Engineer to join an elite team in Aurora CO providing Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services focused on SIGINT collection systems and systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the government in executing spacecraft integration test launch and on-orbit operations.

• Conduct anomaly support launch and mission readiness and end-to-end space systems architecture analysis.

• Maintain close communications with the program acquisition office and customer engineering organizations providing recommendations on risk level of spacecraft activities.

• Oversee day-to-day execution of mission operations and processes to ensure proper attention to health safety and effective use of national resources.

• Provide launch and mission readiness subject matter expertise to operations and engineering including readiness for launch spacecraft initialization and transition to mission.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

• Bachelors Degree in Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) or relevant field and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters Degree in STEM or relevant field and seven (7) years or more experience

• Experience in spacecraft payload and launch vehicle engineering as well as mission readiness process control gates and associated entry/exit criteria.

• SIGINT systems engineering expertise and significant space and ground systems domain knowledge

• Technical familiarity with SIGINT systems payloads subsystems and technical capabilities

• Self-starter proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; readily defines solutions for broad abstract topics

• Polished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment

Desired:

• Real-time operations experience as a spacecraft operator or spacecraft engineer familiar with space operations/policies

• 4-years experience in initiating planning executing monitoring controlling and/or closing DoD or Intelligence Community projects or programs

• Familiar with Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and associated tools Agile development cloud technologies

• Contract management/COTR support experience

• Experience with Jira Confluence
