POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director or a staff physician the clinician evaluates diagnoses and recommends treatment for individuals with mental illness. This role provides both individual and group psychotherapy and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality patient care and therapeutic treatment.
COMPETENCIES
A. Education:
Masters degree in Psychology Social Work Nursing or a related Mental Health discipline. Must hold appropriate licensure to provide psychotherapy. A comprehensive understanding of clinical mental health practices in a healthcare setting is required.
B. Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge of organizational policies and procedures as well as principles related to the evaluation diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions. This knowledge is typically acquired through one to two years of experience in psychiatric therapy within a clinical environment.
C. Skills:
Strong analytical skills are required to collect assess and interpret clinical data for evaluation and treatment planning. Must be able to formulate individualized treatment plans monitor progress and adjust care as needed. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for delivering effective therapy and collaborating with physicians social workers and other healthcare professionals. A designated portion of time will be spent in direct patient care as defined by program requirements.

A minimum of two to three years of relevant clinical experience is required.
Salary Range: Minimum$34.11/hour - Maximum$56.34/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
