What You Will Achieve
Perform various duties to assist in assay throughput completing the testing of human and animal samples from clinical and toxicology studies including sample preparation reagent preparation assay performance and data review as needed.
Document all aspects of assay throughput maintaining accurate clear and complete records.
Conduct assays to support critical assay reagent testing and qualification assay development and troubleshooting.
Assist with updating and writing documents related to ligand binding immunoassays including SOPs reports and data archiving.
Complete all cGMP/GLP and safety training according to departmental requirements.
Present experimental results at group meetings and project meetings as required. Prepare progress reports when necessary.
Where applicable perform job responsibilities in compliance with cGMP/GLP and other regulatory agency requirements.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must Have
Bachelors degree in biology microbiology molecular biology or chemistry with 0-3 years of experience in a relevant field
Hands on experience in a laboratory setting/pipetting
Nice to Have
Pharmaceutical and biotech drug discovery experience
Knowledge of Luminex technology
Proficiency in computer skills including word processing Excel PowerPoint and relevant scientific software
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to perform work while standing/sitting.
