Purpose
This role supports the GCM business by driving strategy and productivity. It requires extensive collaboration with various control and support functions including Finance Operational Risk Compliance Legal Operations and Technology. The ideal candidate will help shape strategic initiatives streamline processes and provide high-quality analysis to empower key business decisions.

What Youll Do:

  • Provide timely and relevant information and analysis to GBM business lines and management.
  • Deliver high-quality processes and analysis to support thoughtful and informed decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business line and functional teams to influence key stakeholders.
  • Create business value by consolidating processes ensuring consistency and driving efficiency.
  • Promote an analytics-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Manage strategic initiatives in partnership with GCM GBM and other Bank stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish and execute objectives.
  • Document monitor and evaluate business initiatives for effectiveness and execution feasibility.
  • Develop stakeholder communication plans and advocate for GCM interests.
  • Uphold the Banks risk culture and ethical business conduct standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement emphasizing financial and strategic analysis.
  • Build a high-performance environment and support talent development through coaching.
  • Assist in business audits and regulatory remediation activities acting as a subject matter expert (SME).
  • Partner with Finance on expense planning and ongoing financial reviews.
  • Engage with control groups to address and resolve business process issues.
  • Oversee key technology projects ensuring successful deployment and prioritization.

What Youll Bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Advanced computer skills particularly in MS Office Suite (Excel Access Word PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational communication and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
