Job Description
This position is required to work in the office Monday-Friday with flexibility in starting and ending times. This job is located in the Vern Riffe building 77 South High St. Columbus OH 43215
Completion of graduate core program in business administration accounting finance or related field; 6 months experience or 6 months training in accounting and/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration accounting finance or related field; 18 months experience or 18 months training in accounting and/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
-Or 42 months experience or 42 months training in accounting and/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
-Or 12 monthsexperienceas Financial Analyst 66562.
NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
The Ohio Department of Development is presently seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support financial grant activities of the Minority Business Development Division.
What youll do as aSenior Financial Analyst in the Minority Business Development Division:
- Administer fiscal aspects of loans and collateral support programs
- Prepares and manages the requisition and disbursement process.
- Manages requisition and disbursement process for divisions financial programs.
- Enter approved requisitions into the Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS).
- Interacts with borrowers for required documentation
- Conduct first review of invoices enters disbursements intoSalesforce.
- Submits disbursements for program manager approval .
- Attachback-up documentation to vouchers in OAKS.
- Processes loan and collateral support pay requests MBAC grant initial reviews and advances/reimbursements.
- Establishes fiscal monitoring of approved loans and collateral support to ensure quality assurance throughout the process.
- Performs programmatic and monitoring of loans grants and collateral support activity.
- Reconciles collateral support and Community Development Financial Institutions Loan Participation Program on a monthly basis.
- Prepares updates and reviews State Small Business Credit Initiative reports.
- Generates and collects annual reports for collateral support programs and performs annual reduction process.
- Designs and builds custom financial reports to support the financial incentives team and to provide information to Leadership.
- Maintains thorough and accurate records and files and creates new files as necessary.
- Attends and participates in meetings conferences seminars and events and demonstrates commitment to customer service performance standards in alignment with agencys promise to deliver service support and solutions to customers.
