Job Description

In this student worker role youll support the Human Resources team by greeting guests answering calls preparing meeting materials and other clerical support. Youll handle a variety of tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly while delivering great customer service to staff and visitors. This role is ideal for someone whos detail-oriented organized and eager to contribute to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist UNR Med guests.

  • Manage incoming calls voicemail and parking reservations.

  • Prepare meeting materials for Human Resources.

  • Provide clerical support for candidate searches and visits such as scheduling visits building itineraries and communications.

  • Assist Human Resources with administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in The University of Nevada Reno

  • Enrolled with a minimum of 6 credits and in good academic standing (eligibility is also contingent on cumulative GPA 2.0 for undergrad 3.0 for graduate).

  • Customer service orientation with professional demeanor

  • Record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information is required

  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks

Schedule
Flexible part-time hours during normal business hours (8 AM - 5 PM).

Compensation Grade
