Social Media Paid Ads Specialist

Overview

Were seeking a results-oriented Social Media Paid Ads Specialist to join our dynamic and growing marketing team. In this role youll lead the strategy execution and optimisation of paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta TikTok LinkedIn and others supporting multiple brands and accounts.

Your primary focus will be driving brand awareness engagement and conversions while maximising ROI and aligning with broader performance marketing goals. Success in this role requires a high level of focus a growth mindset and a passion for testing learning and ongoing optimisation. Youll be expected to stay ahead of trends identify new opportunities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Plan build and manage paid social campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Monitor performance daily and optimise campaigns for key metrics
  • Work closely with creative marketing and content teams to develop high-performing ad assets and A/B test creative
  • Advise on creative changes to optimise campaign performance
  • Advise on caption improvements to optimise campaign performance
  • Work closely with CRO and UX workgroups to ensure an end-to-end approach
  • Feed into ad briefs based on strategic competitor analysis
  • Define audience targeting strategies and use platform tools for lookalike and custom audience segmentation
  • Create and maintain reports on campaign performance with actionable insights and recommendations; clear and active communication is key here
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team on campaign calendar planning
  • Stay ahead of industry trends algorithm changes and emerging platforms advising the wider marketing team of these
  • Manage annual paid social budget with strategic focus throughout the year alongside relevant lead requirement timelines and cyclical considerations Requirements

Requirements

  • 3 years hands-on experience managing paid social media campaigns (in house or agency)
  • Proven track record of optimising ads to deliver against performance goals
  • Strong understanding of media buying strategies funnel-based advertising and retargeting
  • Proficient in Meta Ads Manager and at least one other major social platform with the ability to self-learn and optimise others.
  • Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics Meta Insights etc.
  • Basic knowledge of landing page optimisation or CRO
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced test-and-learn environment
