Job Description

Marblehead Community Charter Public School (MCCPS) is seeking a full-time Digital Literacy and Computer Science (DLCS) Teacher for theschool year. This teacher will provide engaging standards-aligned instruction in Digital Literacy and Computer Science to students in grades 48. The role includes teaching media literacy data analysis and digital citizenship while integrating content into authentic project-based learning experiences across subject is a mission-driven school known for its small supportive learning environment and emphasis on interdisciplinary instruction Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Community Service Learning (CSL).Duties & Responsibilities:* Deliver instruction aligned to the Massachusetts DLCS Curriculum Frameworks* Model and teach ethical legal and safe technology use* Support students in applying computer science concepts to real-world interdisciplinary projects* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate DLCS instruction with core subjects and PBL units* Teach and use variety of tools and platforms including Google Workspace and Canva * Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives
