The Crib Attendant is responsible for managing issuing and maintaining tools equipment and consumable supplies used by production and maintenance personnel. This role ensures proper inventory control cleanliness and organization of the tool crib or stockroom while supporting production efficiency and safety.
Issue tools equipment and supplies to employees following proper procedures and documentation.
Receive inspect and log incoming tools and materials; report discrepancies or damage.
Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs.
Organize and store tools parts and supplies in designated locations for easy access.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and notify management when supplies need to be reordered.
Follow and enforce safety and cleanliness standards in the crib area.
Work closely with maintenance and production departments to support operational needs.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Work is performed in a warehouse or production environment.
Exposure to noise dust and varying temperatures.
PPE may be required depending on the facility.
