Job Description

Marblehead Community Charter Public School (MCCPS) is seeking a dynamic and flexible 8th Grade Teacher to join our collaborative team for theschool year. This full-time position includes teaching two core academic subjectsELA Math or Sciencebased on the strengths of the candidate and the needs of the are looking for an educator who:* Brings a strong command of middle school content and pedagogy* Enjoys working with adolescents and understands their developmental needs* Is passionate about interdisciplinary project-based learning* Collaborates effectively with colleagues to design integrated rigorous curriculum* Values community creativity and a student-centered approach to teachingKey Responsibilities:* Teach two content areas (combinations may include Science Math and/or ELA) to 8th grade students* Design and implement engaging standards-based lessons that support all learners* Contribute to interdisciplinary project work aligned with MCCPSs mission* Use assessment data to inform instruction and support student growth* Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with team members* Participate in school-wide activities professional development and community events
