Position Summary

The Office of Donor Relations cultivates trust and loyalty by engaging donors in the life of the university deepening their commitment to the universitys mission and acknowledging recognizing and demonstrating the impact of their gifts. Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Gift Administration and Stewardship this position will be responsible for writing and negotiating gift agreements communicating policies and standards carrying out fund administration and sending financial reports to donors. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and project management skills sound judgement demonstrate a keen attention to detail and have the ability to build effective working relationships with diverse constituencies.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Gift Accounting Washington University Investment Management Company vendors and other colleagues to produce validate and mail financial reports on all endowed funds.
  • Draft review and edit gift agreements and pledge forms. Seek guidance from Gift Accounting Advancement Services and other colleagues and campus partners as needed to accurately document gifts.
  • Provide customer service for gift officers and strategy officers who need support with documenting gifts understanding policies and standards understanding historical gift documentation or who have questions regarding endowments or endowment reports.
  • Track endowed funds and research historical information using various databases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned which may include research projects on historic gifts data integrity and other support for the Gift Administration & Stewardship team or the Donor Relations team more broadly.

Salary Range

$49700.00 - $82100.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including ones qualifications and performance equity with others in the department market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
