Summary of Job Duties:
The Performance Improvement Analyst facilitates trains and coaches individuals in applying performance improvement (PI) philosophies and practices to their daily work. This individual designs directs and conducts cross-functional institutionally strategic healthcare projects that optimize quality and safety lead in value creation for patients staff and population health enhance patient experience improve financial performance improve diversity and inclusion and develop employees. The Performance Improvement Analyst works under the supervision of the Chief Quality Officer and in collaboration with other Performance Improvement Analysts faculty trainees operational leaders and staff. The Performance Improvement Analyst will interact constantly with UAMS ICE faculty administration staff and trainees.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate Degree Industrial Engineering Nursing Health Administration Quality Improvement or other equivalent education.
- 4 years of experience in applying continuous improvement methodologies such as PDSA lean six sigma project management and/or rapid cycle improvement in the work setting.
- Computer program proficiency level: Advanced
