As part of #teamBIC and as Quality Control Inspector you will be responsible in line production environment for:

Incoming Inspection:

  • Inspect products for proper packaging UPC seals correct item information mfg. data shipping damage and any other non-conformance issues.
  • Check samples of bulk products for overall appearance any damage and leakage etc.
  • Document inspection reports and keep records of incoming inspection shipments
  • Report any noncompliance issues and inform the Manager and follow procedures for Control of Nonconforming Materials.
  • Perform quality inspections on products from any outsourced suppliers


Inprocess & Final Inspection

  • Perform daily online audits on all the products being packaged in the PACKAGING Department and check against Work Orders NIST and/or samples making sure that they meet specific requirements
  • Check all finished products (first off) for product layout UPC labels etc.
  • Report any Quality issues found through process audits and/or inspections to the Manager and Packaging Manager.
  • Create a process to control and record for Batch Control
  • Audit the Warehouse for stock shelf life rotation obsolescence date codes and non-conformances
  • Supervise the QC location for non-conforming materials (Quarantine)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have some knowledge of either ISO or Quality Manufacturing Standards procedures
  • Must have a minof 2 years experience in Quality Control and have
  • A certification in QA Training is desired
  • Should have experience in measuring instruments and ability to analyze multiple data (Excel)
  • Require some post College education and/or certification
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Outlook and basic computer skills will be an asset
  • Experience in QA/QMS software applications is a definite asset but not necessary
  • Experience in production and using packaging machines is a definite asset but not necessary
