Overview
Were hiring a Quality Engineer to lead process development and ensure high-quality efficient production operations. This role focuses on manufacturing process design optimization and the successful transition from design to production rather than product design.
What Youll Do
- Develop and document robust cost-effective manufacturing processes
- Lead pre-production validation: PFMEA control plans capability studies
- Support tooling equipment and fixture readiness
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Collaborate cross-functionally to launch new designs and meet ISO standards
- Train operators and support internal audits
What Youll Need
- Bachelors in Manufacturing Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering
- Background in ISO quality systems and ERP (Syteline a plus)
- Strong communication analytical and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office CAD tools and Lean methodologies
- Experience with industrial/heavy-duty products preferred
