Description

Join MAPEI Corporation a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials including adhesives sealants and specialty products used in flooring tile and concrete restoration. MAPEI is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning design installation and startup new or modified plant equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to define the project scope budget preparation process planning permitting execution and control of assigned projects
  • Execute assigned projects on-time within budget and within specification. Monitor control and report on all projects as directed
  • Monitor and control CAD design and design modifications
  • Support the continuous improvement efforts in the Operations group
  • Stay updated on industry advancements integrating new technologies where applicable.
  • Ensure regulatory and safety compliance adhering to company policies and industry standards.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations policies work procedures safety rules and instructions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (B.S.) from a four-year College or University in Civil Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise on batch liquid match mixing installations is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint within a Windows environment including MSProject.
  • Knowledge of Autocad drafting is required
  • Valid U.S. drivers license
  • Ability to travel required.
