Job Description:
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Associate Marketing Manager to join our corporate team. This role is responsible for leading the planning and execution of initiatives that drive volume and profitability across assigned product lines and channels. The position offers broad exposure to cross-functional areas including sales operations product development and finance providing a strong foundation in both marketing and general management.
Youll add value to this role by performing various functions including but not limited to:
- Execute annual business objectives strategies and tactics for the Aseptic category in collaboration with the Director and cross-functional teams.
- Assist in mid- and long-term strategic business planning efforts.
- Manage private label product assortment product lifecycle and monitor national brand changes.
- Identify innovation opportunities pricing structures and value propositions for the category.
- Provide guardrails for RDI team and build compelling sales stories using syndicated data.
- Develop and deliver category and product presentations in partnership with Sales.
- Track and analyze category performance including competitive strengths weaknesses and market shifts.
- Maintain and communicate a centralized product knowledge library for assigned categories.
- Influence go-to-market strategies (pricing merchandising shelving assortment) with Sales.
- Lead business simplification and cost-saving initiatives including efforts to mitigate DDD.
- Ensure cross-functional accountability for quality and service while driving best-in-class execution.
Important Details:
- This is a full-time first-shift hybrid position based at our corporate office in Oak Brook IL.
- The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $79900 to $119900 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to specific competencies relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award bonus and equity pay.
Youll fit right in if you have:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business; Masters Degree is a plus.
- Minimum of three years of experience in product/category management within the CPG food industry.
- Cross-functional exposure to areas such as Purchasing Marketing Finance Manufacturing Logistics or R&D preferred.
- Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of P&L management pricing strategies and trade execution.
- Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables VLOOKUP formulas) and PowerPoint; experience with Circana/IRI and SAP is a plus.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking leadership teamwork and analytical capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal communication and creativity skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
