EXPERIENCED POST PRODUCTIONSYSTEMS ENGINEER
Contract: August 2025 (6-12 month term)
The role is responsible for effectively managing and maintaining daily operations of the Post Production systems provide comprehensive setup and support for productions and actively participate in projects aimed at furthering the departments development. This includes the administration and technical support of Post Production systems and workflow management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Avid Media Composer / NEXIS / DR / Nearline / LTO storage daily management.
- Operational monitoring and maintenance of all relevant media and data management and storage systems
- ensuring optimal use and performance of the systems at all times.
- Building testing and troubleshooting local and remote edit suites.
- Supporting staff working remotely and remote workflows.
- Working with the IT department to resolve any network or IT related crossover issues.
- Technical setups workflows and implementation of Post systems on a show-by-show basis.
- Ensuring equipment is deployed and tested prior to staff starting.
Key Responsibilities:
- High level of knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Proven ability to operate Avid Media Composer and install suites and software.
- Knowledge of existing Post Production techniques workflows and shared storage systems.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud suites (Premiere Photoshop and After Effects).
- Ability and experience with training staff.
- Calm organised and methodical approach to work.
- Ability to multitask and work unsupervised.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly and work to deadlines.
