Job Description

Job Title: Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer (Design Engineer 1)

Our client a respected engineering firm in Tulsa OK is looking for an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer whos eager to grow solve practical challenges and contribute to the design and production of precision mechanical systems and tools. What You Will Do:

  • Support the design and development of mechanical and electromechanical systems
  • Perform product research engineering calculations and feasibility studies
  • Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings in CAD (Pro/E and AutoCAD)
  • Design tools fixtures and test procedures for efficient assembly and product validation
  • Document part numbers BOMs and costs in ERP software
  • Collaborate with shop floor teams to ensure smooth rollout of new products or improvements
  • Maintain project records in line with ISO standards and engineering best practices

Youll Know Youre a Good Fit for This Position If You Have...

  • A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering
  • 0-2 years of professional engineering experience (internships or co-ops count!)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with basic engineering calculation proficiency
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and an interest in learning ERP software
  • Experience or interest in CAD design (knowledge of AutoCAD or Pro/E is a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work across departments
  • The physical ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment with PPE

Note: This position may involve occasional exposure to mechanical hazards shop-floor noise and equipment. PPE is required.
