Job Summary
Hospitalist East Market
Duluth Virginia MN; Superior WI
Essentia Health is seeking exceptional hospitalists to join our East Market Team. These hospitalists will primarily be based in Duluth providing approximately 50% of their service there while also covering our regional hospitals in Virginia and Superior.
PRACTICE SPECIFICS
- Ideal candidates should be flexible team players willing to address complex issues in hospital medicine within a collaborative environment.
- Join a team of nearly 80 hospitalists including physicians and NP/PAs.
- Enjoy great flexibility with a 1.0 FTE equating to 168 shifts typically following a 7/7 schedule for 24 weeks per year.
- Mileage/rental car and lodging (if desired) are reimbursed for travel from Primary Location.
- Procedures are not required.
- Opportunities to participate in hospital-based research quality and clinical initiatives.
- Opportunity to engage with our inpatient teaching service for Duluth Family Medicine residents.
- Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Record throughout the entire Essentia system.
- Short-term vent management (up to 24 hours) is required in Virginia. Additional training supplied if necessary.
- Dedicated nocturnist teams

COMPENSATION
$348103 - $383262. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses quality incentives or production-based compensation.
