Position Summary:
St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School a faith-filled and family-oriented community within the Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Aide to support the early childhood education program. The Preschool Aide will work closely with the lead teacher to ensure a safe nurturing and engaging environment that supports the spiritual social emotional and academic development of young learners.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lessons activities and classroom routines
Support the supervision safety and well-being of preschool students at all times
Help maintain a clean organized and developmentally appropriate learning environment
Foster a loving respectful and Christ-centered atmosphere
Assist with student needs including meals hygiene and transitions throughout the day
Communicate positively with children staff and parents
Participate in school events staff meetings and required professional development
Model the values and teachings of the Catholic faith in all interactions
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience working with young children in a school childcare or parish setting preferred
A strong commitment to the mission of Catholic education
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Warm patient and energetic demeanor
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
