IT Business Analyst / Delivery Management Intern

Job Description:

MUFG is seeking an intern to assist with IT business analysis and delivery of IT technology solutions to end users that support the Private Equity fund-of-funds secondary and co-investment business verticals at MUFG. This position is a remote work assignment.

This individual will be part of a team that interfaces with different groups within the business and technology. This intern will be responsible for assisting with the analysis of end user change requests requirements generation and assisting the agile team to deliver technology changes. Some of the specific activities will include assistance with creating business requirement documents and test cases assisting with meeting notes activity tracking and coordinating implementation of the recommended changes. In this role assignments may include assistance on business analysis and/or IT delivery depending on the needs of of the assigned initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Assistance with tracking end user prioritization of ticket requests and monitoring progress towards completion.
• Assistance with writing requirements use cases and tests.
• Assistance with collecting notes when end user interviews are conducted.
• Assistance with documenting current business process and future business process for cases when the technology change will require a change in end user process.
• Assistance with coordinating with the developers that are implementing the technology changes. Since the developers work in a different timezone they sometimes need someone to follow-up on their tickets with Options IT (our managed service provider) to assure infrastructure changes are fixed before they start their next day of work..
• Assistance with documenting issues and risks.
• Assistance with backfill when team members are out of the office.
• Assistance with project management of the agile teams execution of IT work from initiation to completion. This will include assistance with tracking of work timeline verifying monthly invoice spend and counting software defects.
• Assistance with collecting weekly status report updates and generating the status report.
