Job Description
Schedule:
- Dates: July 1 2025 - August 31 2025
- Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday
- On-Site
- Program development: Create and manage swim lesson programs water safety programs and other aquatic activities
- Staff management: Recruit hire train and supervise lifeguards swim instructors and other staff
- Safety: Ensure adequate lifeguard coverage conduct safety drills and meet safety standards
- Budgeting: Create and manage budgets and follow budgeting policies and procedures
- Marketing: Promote aquatic programs events and exercise in the community
- Customer service: Respond to inquiries and complaints from members and the community
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in aquatics management and swim instruction.
- Current Lifeguard Water Safety Instructor (WSI) and CPR/AED certifications.
- Strong knowledge of water safety principles and best practices.
- Passion for swimming and water safety
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Able to plan activities and schedules in advance
- Flexible and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Innovative and creative
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children of all ages and abilities.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience with pool maintenance.
