Critical Care at St. Francis includes a 14-bed medical/surgical intensive care unit and a 16-bed progressive care unit. In the ICU we take care of patients whove experienced cardiac arrest hypothermia and sepsis. In the PCU we have a varied medical/surgical population of cardiac vascular pulmonary bariatric and sepsis patients. Our ICU registered nurses provide primary care and we have an RN to patient ratio of 2:1. The PCU has an RN to patient ratio of 4:1.

Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in nursing preferred
- One year of related work experience is preferred
- Current WA state Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Current CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) CSC (Cardiac Surgery) Certification preferred
- American Heart Association Healthcare Basic Life Support certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or attainment within six months of hire
