Job Description
Job Summary:
The focus of the internship will be on coordination of corporate-related administrative and marketing support. This work will include various department-specific projects related to intern educational studies.
Administrative Interns are entry level positions responsible for improving their overall job knowledge and providing administrative support. Projects may include work for Accounting Facilities Human Resources and/or Marketing departments.
Position is a temporary position expected to be about three months and a short-term work assignment.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Location: This is an onsite role at our administrative office in Downtown Tacoma. Free and secured parking is included.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Essential Job Functions:
- Work under the direction of the Marketing Director or other staff who will provide daily oversight and project input and supervision.
- Project support will include providing support to and / or ownership of various special projects as directed by leadership including development of social media projectsand new business development tools.
- Ability to cross-train on various corporate admin functions including accounting finance human resources and marketing.
Qualifications:
Education/Work Experience
- High School Graduate or GED required
- One year of related work experience and one year of college education or three years equivalent college education/course work
Job Knowledge/Skills
- Effective written verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
- Must possess strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Must be proactive and possess basic marketing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding multitasking abilities
- Innovative thinking
- Proficiency in MS Office and calendar management
- Significant work or volunteer experience in a related field
- Highly motivated
- Working knowledge of MS Office package including Word Excel and Outlook
- Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills
- Communicate professionally with other medical facilities patients and customers
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and carry out instructions effectively
